About

My story

For 20 years, I pursued a successful career in international organizations and institutions. However, during the pivotal moments of the COVID lockdown, I turned inward and discovered a deep longing for creativity in my life. This need grew so strong that, just two years after I began painting, I decided to make it my full-time pursuit.

Around the same time, I returned to the Polish countryside after living for many years in Belgium. Immersing myself in Polish folk traditions brought a unique perspective to my work, leading me to incorporate elements such as embroidery and raw linen into my paintings.

Observation plays a central role in my creative process—a skill I cultivated during my studies and work as a psychologist. The works I create from observation are filtered through my personal sensibility and the way I perceive the world and humanity. Light holds a special place in my art; it’s a presence that defines much of what I create.

In early 2024, I began crafting ceramic pieces on the pottery wheel in my small studio. These objects are made with great care and genuine love—never rushed. Their design is not driven by fleeting trends, but by a desire to create something lasting and joyful.

For me, creating is not just a profession—it is a way of existing in the world.
